Team Needs

Team Needs:   OT   OG   DE   ILB   FS   SS   K
The Skinny: The Cowboys loss to the Vikings demonstrated that they are starting to show their age and/or immobility on the offensive line. Flozell Adams is a massive presence, but he is 36 and can't move like he once did. Marc Colombo has never been great on his feet. Jerry Jones would do well to find an athletic young tackle that he can pencil in on one or both sides of the line for the next 10 years. Kyle Kosier does a pretty good job at the LG spot, but the other guard position is up in the air. Dallas has a good secondary but would not mind upgrading either safety spot if the opportunity arises. And I don't think Jones would mind sending Shaun Suisham on the first bus out of town if he can find a reliable kicker come April.
4/15 Update: Flozell is gone, making LT a gaping hole. Also gone is S Ken Hamlin. No major additions. One thing we can state with reasonable certainty is that the Cowboys will not be drafting Tim Tebow.

Mock Draft

1 -27. OT Charles Brown, USC
The Skinny: Brown is an athletic left tackle type whose draft stock is all over the map. With the Cowboys cutting Flozell Adams, finding a left tackle has become their top priority.

2 -27. FS Nate Allen, South Florida
The Skinny: Nate Allen is a nice combo safety with enough speed to cover, and one who really likes to hit.
