New York Giants

  • Conference: NFC
  • Division: East
  • Defense: 4-3

Team Needs

Team Needs:   CB   ILB   DT   OT   OLB   FS   SS
The Skinny: The Giants have a talented roster, but it needs some tweaking, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Specifically, their pass defense needs a major upgrade. They're extremely thin at corner, and the FS spot is a revolving door unless they decide to move Aaron Ross there permanently (and he can stay healthy). It's also time to look for Antonio Pierce's replacement in the middle.
4/15 Update: The Giants signed Ss Antrell Rolle and Deon Grant. They lost DT Fred Robbins to FA and cut MLB Antonio Peirce.

Mock Draft

1 -15. ILB Rolando McClain, Alabama
The Skinny: Rolando McClain played in a 3-4 in college, but we feel he can play the middle in a 4-3. The Giants are in need of someone to man the middle and can't pass him up. They could also go cornerback, and Joe Haden is still on the board.

2 -14. CB Kareem Jackson, Alabama
The Skinny: The Giants need to shore up the defensive backfield and if they pass on Joe Haden in the first, they'll take a corner in the second.
