Each year several underclassman decide to forgo their final years of eligibility and enter the upcoming NFL Draft. The past two season over 50 underclassman have made the leap. So far we have 34 confirmed players that have declared. So far this does not include guys like LaMichael James and Brock Osweiler, who rumors have leaving early.

A couple of quick notes on declaring for the draft. A player must be at least three years removed from high school. Typically this means redshirt sophomores and juniors. However, Ronnie Hillman is only a true sophomore in terms of collegiate eligibility. But Hillman spent a year at prep school before heading to San Diego State, so he is eligible. Also, players have until Jan. 15 to declare for the draft.
