Gerald McCoy: Hard work pays off

Oklahoma defensive tackle Gerald McCoy attributes his success to hard work in the gym.  "It takes a lot of hard work to separate yourself," McCoy says.  "Like back in high school, even though I had friends and teammates who liked to work out, but none did as much as me. I did most of my working out on my own in high school. I just knew that I had to get it done and that it was going to take more work than the next guy. All that hard work has paid off and it took a whole lot of it to get where I'm at now."

McCoy is starting to work his way into first pick consideration.  He's a great player, we just have a hard time seeing the St. Louis Rams taking a defensive tackle with the potentially glaring need at quarterback if they part ways with Marc Bulger.
