Former Dallas Cowboys director of player personnel Gil Brandt says Drew Brees' Super Bowl win may have opened the door for more teams to look at Texas quarterback Colt McCoy. "I think it opens some eyes. No question about it," said Brandt. "To me, Colt is Drew Brees on the field and Drew Brees off the field. But he's about two and a half inches taller and he's faster."
McCoy is not a prototypical quarterback in just about any sense. But he's a winner, a playmaker and an incredibly accurate passer. Despite his lack of ideal size and throwing motion, he should be a solid NFL quarterback.
