"Let's not just stop at defensive tackle," Detroit Loins coach Jim Schwartz said at the NFL Scouting Combine. "We'll get a good player. That's the most important thing, rather than on Feb. 25 saying, 'We have to take a defensive tackle,' or 'We have to take whatever position.'"
Whether or not the Lions take Nebraska's Ndamukong Suh or Oklahoma's Gerald McCoy is up in the air. However, what is clear is the Lions need help on the defensive side of the ball and anything short of taking a defensive player would be a disaster.
