Clemson running back C.J. Spiller and wide receiver Jacoby Ford passed on running the 40-yard dash at Clemson's Pro Day. "There really was no need to run it. Why waste the energy?" said Spiller. "Everyone knows that I'm fast."
Spiller nailed it on the head, there was really no reason for either to run the again after posting times of 4.37 and 4.28 respectively at the combine. The two did participate in on-field drills for scouts.
