USC sanctions could force Perry's hand

One underclassman that we are high on is rising USC sophomore defensive end Nick Perry.  While he has three years of eligibility remaining, it seems unlikely that he'll have a reason to stay after this year after USC was slapped with a two-year bowl ban on Thursday.

Of course this all assumes Perry has a big year, which we think he will.  After redshirting his first year, Perry registered nine sacks in 2009.  All reports indicated that he was even more dominating in practice this spring.
