North Carolina linebacker Bruce Carter had surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee and will miss the Music City Bowl on Dec. 30.
Giving the timing, it seems highly unlikely that Carter will be ready for the NFL Scouting Combine in February, which will certainly hurt his draft stock.
